YouTube sensations Sam Golbach and Colby Brock, better known as Sam and Colby, were arrested yesterday alongside Ireland Boys’ Ricky by the Tampa, Florida police department.
According to police reports, all three were arrested for trespassing on a construction site. Ricky Ireland and Sam Goldbach were released on bond while Cole Brock remains behind bars at the time of writing, according to the report.
Brock faces two additional charges of unauthorized use or possession of a drivers license and is currently on a $6,000 bond.
Sam and Colby have over 2.2 million subscribers on their joint channel, which usually involves exploring abandoned places.
Many fans of the YouTube duo took to Twitter with the hashtag #FreeSamAndColby to demand thier release. Ricky Ireland was also arrested which suggest that the YouTubers may have been working on a collaboration video before being taking into police custody.
None of the YouTubers had released a statement about their arrests at the time of writing.
Sam, Colby and Ricky were arrested on Wednesday evening just before 6pm in Tampa Heights near the Lee Elementary School of Technology. It’s not known whether Ricky’s brother Nick Ireland was with them at the time.
Sam and Colby have over 200 million views on their joint YouTube channel and over one million subscribers each on their independent accounts.
