Ivanka assumed that people would say she had honest intentions when posting the message; she was wrong.

Many social media users immediately jumped in the comment section to criticize her for her hypocritical attitude. She was reminded of the anti-Muslim position President Donald Trump took as well as his controversial travel/Muslim ban.
