iHeartRadios Jingle Ball Makes It Way to San Francisco With a Star-Studded Concert Celeb Secr

Aside from celebrating the holidays, December is one of our favorite months because of one thing… JINGLE BALL!

Hot off seeing Cardi B, Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa and more at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball at The Forum in Los Angeles, Celeb Secrets made the trip up to the Bay Area for WiLD 94.9’s Jingle Ball on Saturday (December 1) for a chance to see artists like 5 Seconds of Summer, Calvin Harris, Khalid, and Bazzi perform some of their biggest hits.

The night began with Alessia Cara, who was able to perform songs off her new album The Pains of Growing live for the first time.

“I’m really excited to see Khalid tonight! I love him,” Alessia shared with Celeb Secrets backstage.

The GRAMMY Award-winning artist had the crowd going wild for “Scars To Your Beautiful,” stealing everyone’s hearts in front of a visual that was similar to her 2016 music video.

One of our favorite performances of the night was Calvin Harris, who brought a little Vegas to the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. With a stage filled with lights, fireworks, and smoke machines, Harris covered it all in his short set. From mixing his smash “Feel So Close” to his latest Top 40 bop “Promises” with Sam Smith, the EDM superstar proved why he’s been (and will continue to be) one of the best DJs of our time.

Back on the red carpet, our gal Sabrina Carpenter stopped to chat all about her new album Singular Act I, which she told Celeb Secrets was “her biggest departure musically.”

“There’s eight songs on Singular Act I and I’ve been writing it for a little over two years. I think its the biggest departure musically from anything I’ve done before so I’m really happy that anybody who has listened hopefully likes it and I’m just really grateful for the response.”

She also dished on her new music video for her dancey bop “Sue Me,” where she channeled everyone’s favorite lawyer Elle Woods.

“It was so fun channeling Elle Woods for the music video. I wish we could have gotten away with even more if it weren’t a legal issue, ironically,” Carpenter told Celeb Secrets exclusively at WiLD 94.9’s Jingle Ball in San Francisco. “It was a dream come true of mine because when I wrote that song I was like ‘wow, this would be the ultimate music video if I would ever be allowed to do it,’ and the fact that we got to was really fun. [Legally Blonde] is one of my favorite movies and it couldn’t have fit better with the story that I was telling.”

Khalid was another performer that we couldn’t wait to see, as his stage presence just makes you want to smile. Showing his bubbly personality through synchronized dance moves, the GRAMMY-nominated singer brought his talent and authenticity to the stage by singing songs like “Young, Dumb & Broke,” “Location,” and “Better.”

The 20-year-old singer also brought out Normani to perform their steamy hit “Love Lies” and it was EVERYTHING. Does anyone else ship these two?!

Another major moment from WiLD 94.9’s Jingle Ball was getting to see Monsta X perform in the States! The K-Pop group is the first of its kind to perform on an iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour, and they absolutely crushed it singing and dancing along to their English single “Shoot Out,” “Dramarama” and “Hero.”
